 UNCONFIRMED: Videogamer reported that Crytek's TimeSplitters 4 is in development for PS4 and Xbox 3, Crytek is using DirectX 11 as the current basis for next-generation development. Crytek development said Microsoft will announce the Xbox 360 successor within the next 12 months, likely at E3 2012.

Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello said that there is no rush to start looking for a PS4 or Xbox 3, because innovation is possible on current console for customers to have more opportunities to interact with their games. Cross platform gaming is the greatest innovation at the moment, linking the best IP from console, PC, mobile and social.
